So. Here I am at the Assumption College; I'll be 22 years old in 3 days. Now that I have clear goals in my life and know the ultimate purpose of my life, I'm now a college freshman who is working hard to achieve them. The past 6 weeks have been difficult - all of a sudden moving from Canada, and I'm stuck in a dry dorm with a bunch of 18 year olds. It's even more difficult to compete with a rusty brain; I try my best to make up the difference with more efforts, and so far it seems to work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, I'm not a very good writer, let alone being a good communicator (hence I suck at essays). So, when I have great ideas or frustration in my mind, I tend to either confuse the audience (and myself) or close myself. Even at this moment I have so much to say, but I cannot express it well. I very much want to improve at this area, however. No matter how great my ideas are, if they're not communicated effectively, they're as good as nothing. No matter how frustrated I may be, if I cannot efficiently convey it to the source of frustration, there will be no resolution of conflict. No matter how much passion I have for the poor and the oppressed, if I cannot speak for them effectively, I will not be able to lend a voice to them. So, I hope that keeping a blog will help my writing to improve, along with the help of the academic support centre. Repetition makes it perfect, right?

Writing - a good way to let it out?

Your writing has improved! Not that it was bad when you wrote this post, but the most recent one made for a really interesting read that was very well worded and organized and really got the point[s] across. :)
